BUT WHY IS IT CALLED GOATMEAL?

This product is essentially a grain-free version of Oatmeal, so we decided to merge the words "Grain- free" and "Oatmeal" to create the name. Thus, "Goatmeal" was born!

Okay, so what’s so special about Goatmeal?

Regular breakfast cereals typically consist of cereal grains such as wheat, corn, rice, and oats. These cereals are normally very processed, carbohydrate-heavy, often lack nutritional value and are loaded with sugar. In a nutshell, they are not really that great for your health.

Goatmeal, however, is basically the exact opposite approach to breakfast cereal. Here’s why:

1) Grain-Free — Instead of cereal grains, Goatmeal is made of a mixture of extremely healthy flavourful seeds
.

2) No Added Sugar or Artificial Sweeteners  Goatmeal is sweetened naturally with dried fruit and coconut. There is no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.

3) Lower in Carbohydrates — Yes. Goatmeal is less than half as much carbohydrates than your average breakfast cereal. This actually leaves you more room to add your own fresh fruit, or sweetener without giving you a carb-overloaded breakfast.

Think about it. When you add a sliced banana (which is high in natural sugars) to a traditional breakfast cereal, you are just adding more carbohydrates to a meal that is already 80% carbs! That doesn't seem like a balanced meal does it?

4) High in Healthy Fats — Goatmeal is high in healthy fats such as Omega 3's and Omega 6's.This quality fat content will help make you feel full and stay feeling fuller longer. Unlike a high carbohydrate meal, Goatmeal will give you a sustainable source of energy without the crash.

5) High in Protein — Approximately 15% protein, Goatmeal is great for building and repairing the body! Below is a graph comparing the macronutrients of the average, traditional cereal with that of Goatmeal.
6) Lots of Vitamins and Minerals — The super-seeds that we have chosen for Goatmeal are naturally packed full of vitamins and minerals. Below is the nutrition facts for the Cinnamon Raisin Flavour.
